Community & Technical Colleges
The National Association Of Community College Teacher Education Programs (NACCTEP) is an organization which provides a voice for community colleges in national discussions related to teacher education, supports institutions by working to enhance current community college teacher education programs, and facilitates connections between faculty and community college teacher education programs.
The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) is responsible for providing leadership and coordination for all of Washington State's 34 community and technical colleges.
The Center for Learning Connections (CLC), located at Edmonds Community College, designs training and manages projects to help individuals and organizations respond to change and improve quality. The Center also is able to provide evaluation and research services as well as web design and management services.

OSPI Endorsement Information - This is a link to the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) website that explains how currently certified Washington State K-12 educators can add additional endorsements to their current Washington State teaching certificate.
The WEST-B (Washington Educators Basic Skills Test) is required for all students applying for admission to any Washington State approved educator preparation program or any K-12 educator applicants who have been certified as an educator outside the state of Washington and are applying for a Washington State teaching certificate. Test takers are required to register in advance in order to take the exam.

The Green Schools Initiative works to improve the environmental health and ecological sustainability of schools in the United States.
